Clue 2 of Celtic Solstice Mystery

Here is my Clue #2 of the Bonnie Hunter Celtic Solstice Mystery.  I hand pieced the Y seam section and machine pieced the rest.

Well my son Richy Jr. and I have been quite busy... we have some new patterns in progress and he has been busy working on his 2nd fabric design collection.  We hope to get the 1st line submitted and get it on the market because it is such a fun collection that I know everyone would love!

While working on our patterns... we are stopped dead in our tracks and start two new projects so we can enter Moda's Sliced Challenge http://www.flickr.com/groups/slicedcontest and should be posting our entries in a few days.  Wish us luck!

Dresden Plates

This is the 1st of my Dresden plates for the Bunny Hill BOM Scrappy Plate Club .  I am making different size plates with wool centers.  Each one will have different words in them.  I am thinking about using jean for the background and scrappy/crazy quilting the jean since some of the plates are larger than the largest piece of jean I can get from my old jeans.  Richy (my son) suggested that I may want to add stems to each plate and leaves and make them into a flower garden which I may do but have not decided yet.
